Kelly and Jennifer bring a wealth of experience to their roles as Lay Chaplains. Each is a trained public speaker, having presented to audiences of all sizes. In addition, each is an experienced performer with a high degree of comfort in front of audiences gained through various artistic endeavours. They have unique professional backgrounds from which they have honed their writing and speaking skills, and will be able to express the values and beliefs you wish to share at your gathering. As Lay Chaplains, they will listen first – absorbing your wishes and your vision – and help you to select the perfect balance of readings, music, and elements of ritual to make your service meaningful and memorable.

As long-term members of Toronto’s First Unitarian Congregation, they take pride in representing the Unitarian community and serving the broader public. Together, they share a keen interest in the many ways people choose to experience and express their spiritual values and beliefs. To that end, they offer secular, spiritual, interfaith and same-sex ceremonies and rites of passage for all people with sensitivity and professionalism.
